Lokal Lab is a grassroots NGO creating sustainable futures for Siargao, with and for the local community.
We named our organization Lokal to reflect our commitment to using local materials, supporting the local way of life, and keeping things affordable for our community.

Artisans
We have two partner weavers’ communities, Caridad and Bitaug who have different techniques in weaving. Through our Tabo Slow Market, we act as an avenue for them to sell their weaved products.
Pasalo Kids
Para Sa Lokal News Club, is a youth-led storytelling initiative through the lens of the local community to harness the power of storytelling in strengthening local voices and actions
Farm Networks
Lokal's farm network consists of trained small-scale food producers from Lokal Lab who sell their produce at our Tabo Slow Market.
Siargao NGOS
As one island, we collaborate in various ways with the NGOs in Siargao to ensure the sustainability of the island, our projects, and community development.
